Rosie Jane Scottiann Taylor The Great

Rosie was a 9 year old Harlequin Great Dane, from "The Great" bloodline. Rosie like Hank had many loving nicknames, "Rosie Girl", "Rosie Posie", and my personal favorite (Her Sissy) was "Rosie Posie Willy-Walla Bing Bong" I have no idea where I came up with that one but she loved it lol. Rosie crossed the Rainbow Bridge March 12, 2026. She was surrounded by everyone who loved her, in her comfy bed with a new Easter blankie and her Lobster toy. We know she was greeted with open loving paws and arms by Paw Paw Sam, Uncle Casey, her brother Hank (Blue Great Dane), Her nephew Baxter (Pekingese), her Aunt Shelby (Mixed breed) etc. Rosie is survived by her Nephew Elijah Bear (English Mastiff), Nieces Lilly Lou (Chiweenie) and Clementine (Tabby Cat), her hoomans which are, her Momma (Mandi), her Poppa (Brian), her Brothers (Zach and Derick) and lastly her Sister (Gracie). Rosie was one of the sweetest dogs we ever had. She was so motherly towards anything and everything, it didn't matter what it was. Especially as she got older. Out of all the dogs Rosie was definitely the boss of the "pack" she just had this aura of "Im the boss", she would always sit or lay down so proper with her head nice and straight, chest puffed out and her front legs crossed. She was the very first big dog we got. My mom always wanted a Great Dane, and just so happen a co-worker of my dad had a family member who had a litter of pups. So my dad sent my mom pictures of all the girls they had. Of course they were all so adorable and different colorings etc. But when my mom saw Rosie, it was fate. She was so pretty, this little chunky black and white spotted puppy with the most brightest pink nose we had ever seen. (As she got older her pink started disappearing and turned all black) mom knew right then and there that was her Rosie. Rosie was also so incredibly smart. I was so excited when I was younger and was able to teach her tricks. From sit, to shake, fist bump, high five etc. But the main person she would listen to was mom. She was Rosie's person. Yes, 2 years later we got Hank who became mom's dog too, but mom and Rosie had a very special bond. It didn't matter if mom decided to walk like a foot away, Rosie would get up and be right with mom. If mom went outside, there goes Rosie, kitchen? There's Rosie, bathroom? Again there is Rosie. Rosie loved everyone, but she was way more lovey, cuddly, etc with mom. She was mom's baby without any doubt. Rosie was also very protective of me and mom, much like hank, but the only difference was Rosie would get right between me or mom against any threat she saw. Then Hank would follow what she was doing. We miss hearing her walking around the house, you could always tell which dog it was too just by the footsteps. We also miss giving her the ear rubs. She LOVED her ear rubs. She would come right up to whoever was in-front of her and shove her head into your stomach and just stay there until you rubbed her ears. Also, seeing her outfront or outback on the porch sunbathing. She loved to " tan ". We did not expect to lose her so soon after Hank. It had not even been two full months without him. But sadly we found out she had cancer. It brings us some peace to know she is with her brother Hank again. And we know they are cuddling, playing and grooming each other again like old times. They hated being apart even if it was for like 10 mins. We know they will take care of everyone for us until we can see them again. Especially Rosie, like I said she was the boss and so motherly, so she is definitely keeping everyone in line lol. We love you and miss you so much Rosie girl. You're not in pain anymore, and you're with your Bubby again. We will see you both soon. Thank you for everything, loving us, protecting us, teaching us, and for being the best baby for mom.
